| Personal History | Sotaak is the oldest son of T'San and Dan. Born on Earth where his father had a restaurant. His mother worked at an hospital in San Fransisco. When Sotaak was 8 years old, he was send to live on Vulcan with his aunt, his mother's sister to be raised as a Vulcan. But even his love for art never got unnoticed. A lot of Vulcans said his work was full of emotion, even though he didn't show it in his physical expressions. Sotaak went on to study at the Vulcan science academy. His interest lay with Alien anthropology and archaeology. At first he joint and archaeology group from Vulcan, with whom he traveled to various planets for archaeological digs. He was particularly amazed by the ancient art of several old and dead civilizations. Before he joined the academy to serve as a science officer, he married his wife T'Ris, together they had a son. Not willing to part his family like his parents did. He took T'Ris and his son Tapuk on all his assignments. He first served on the USS Tamaris, a small science vessel as archaeologist. This was actually his longest assignment. He watched his daughter T'Sani born on this ship. He was then reassigned to the USS Company, where he served first as Assistant Chief science and was later promoted to Chief Science officer. After several year he was now reassigned to the USS Axca. |
