Personal History		Despite being Violacean, Kahjoz grew up on the Federation world of Mars where his parents served as construction specialists at the famed Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards. Because of this unique upbringing at the very heart of the Federation, Kahjoz had the opportunity to attend schooling on Earth where he was given an exceptional education on the history of the Federation and its role in serving the needs of the galaxy. This led him to developing strong feelings toward the Federation and a lifelong loyalty to the Federation and its goals. His ambition is to eventually serve in the Federation Diplomatic Service, but knew he would have to serve in Starfleet to be successfully considered. When he came of age, Kahjoz applied to and attended Starfleet Academy's Mars Annex where he majored in Diplomacy and minored in Navigation. His early years at the Academy were challenging and he struggled with the mandatory diplomatic course, but flourished with the navigation training. At the close of his Sophomore year, Kahjoz chose to switch his major and minor to focus on Navigation full time. When time came for his midshipman cruise he was appointed to the USS Bradbury, a California Class vessel in the diplomatic service. Kahjoz would end up beginning his career aboard the Bradbury, serving within the Shuttlebay as a pilot first and later becoming the Deck Officer. Not wanting to be relegated to a Shuttlebay for his entire career, Kahjoz had learned of an opening aboard the USS Cerritos for a Flight Control Officer and successfully transferred. At the time of his appointment he, however, was unaware that the Cerritos was considered the worst vessel in Starfleet with many personnel frequently trying to escape the ship. He would quickly rise to the rank of Assistant Chief Flight Control Officer with the rank of Lieutenant (Junior Grade). In time Kahjoz transferred to the California Class Starship Merced, where he would serve as Chief Flight Control Officer under Captain Durango. His first mission would find the Merced working with the Cerritos to relocate an alien generation ship. Regrettably, Kahjoz would find this assignment short lived as the Merced was lost during the mission as the terraforming compound was released upon the Merced. Rather than return to the Cerritos, Kahjoz transferred to the Rubidoux to continue as Chief Flight Control Officer. This too would be short lived as the Rubidoux would be destroyed when encountering an unidentified life-form. Kahjoz had the opportunity to continue with Captain Dayton aboard the Solvang; however, he instead chose to go another route and was assigned to the Starship Axca.
